Colburn- Appeal for information

Dear Resident,

Community appeal- Do you have any information that could help with our investigation?

We are appealing to local residents for information following reports of suspicious activity at a property on Colburn Lane which is currently under renovation.

Building items and copper piping have reportedly been stolen over a period of time. The most recent incident was between 4:30PM on Wednesday 28th October and 6:10AM on Thursday 29th October.

We have been in the area making enquiries, speaking with residents and carrying out patrols in the area.

If you live nearby and have CCTV or doorbell cameras we would kindly ask you to review any available footage between the above times, as you may have captured something that could assist or enquiries.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant and report any supicious activity, particularly around properties undergoing renovation or building work.

If you have any information that could assist please call us on 101 quoting reference 12260212663, or via the ‘Tell Us About’ page on our website:  How to tell us about an existing case or report | North Yorkshire Police

Even the smallest piece of information could be helpful.
